There’s something so special about photographing newborns at home. No rush, no pressure—just the sweet little moments that unfold naturally. This session was full of cozy snuggles, a proud big sister, and all that quiet, love-filled energy that comes with bringing a new baby home.
I love how in-home sessions let families just be—holding their baby, soaking it in, and settling into this new rhythm together. And while it’s relaxed and lifestyle-driven, we still make space for those softly posed newborn moments too. My associate Liz is truly magic when it comes to getting babies nice and sleepy for those blissful, curled-up shots.
The mix of real connection and those dreamy little details is what makes these sessions so special. These early days go by so fast, and it’s the simple, in-between moments that end up meaning the most.
