The first time I met Poonam, I could tell she was full of warmth and light. After sipping coffee and hearing about the gorgeous plans for this Palm Springs Wedding, I was so excited to see it come to fruition. And oh man, I was not disappointed! All of the celebrations were elegant, with a unique and fanciful edge. Rugs, and Ottomans lent a bohemian twist and a cozy feeling throughout the entire celebration. One thing I absolutly love about Indian weddings, is the color. From the vivid colors of the saris, to the bright yellow of the Phiti. Its all so vibrant and full of energy! The ceremony was inspired by "A garden that grew into us" and was adorned with spectacular hand painted pink flowers by Shawna Yamamoto. It truly was like a scene straight out of Fern Gully! Just breathtaking! Ajita Chopra events did a wonderful job with 3D Sounds producing the reception look. Simple Gold elegance filled the room with pops of emerald green throughout adding vibrance. The backdrop to it all was a gigantic LED screen, with rotating backdrops, which added to the modernness of the design.

Everything went beautifully for Poonam and Ruwan. The whole week was filled with hugs, laughter and even some live music preformed by the groom! Ok guys, he preformed Depasito for Poonam as surprise. So cool! Though the weather did not quite coperate with us and handed us 18 mph winds, these love birds did not skip and beat and had the best day of their lives. I say this all the time, but I really mean it. I'm so lucky to have such sweet clients. The entire family overflowed with joy and love, and always made sure I had something to eat! (LOVE)

Ganesh Pooja, Satak, and Phiti - The Venue by Three Pedals

The Ganesh Pooja was held at a private residence in Irvine. Poonam was wearing the same sari her mother wore during her wedding celebrations. The Satak and Phiti were held at The Venue by Three Pedal in Huntinton beach attended by hundreds of friends and family.
