WOW! Can you get any more dreamy than these two stunners on a gorgeous sailboat at golden hour? I don’t think so!
Katie and Jon love to sail together, so when they said they wanted to do their engagement session on their boat, I was SO DOWN. It felt like the most natural setting for them — out on the water in San Diego, soaking up the sunshine and salty air. Of course, they had to bring their fur baby along too, and she was the sweetest little snuggle buddy the whole time.
This session was such a vibe. The golden light, the glistening water, and Katie and Jon looking effortlessly classy — it all came together so perfectly. Maybe it’s because I come from a watermen family, but sailboats are one of my all-time favorite places to shoot. There’s just something so timeless and romantic about being on the water, especially when it’s with two people (and one pup!) who are so clearly in their element.
Katie and Jon, thank you for letting me capture such a special piece of your story. I’ll be reliving this golden-hour sail for a long time!
